Amounts & fees

PayIn example

For an original order of 100.00, the payable amount might be 100.07 or 99.97. Payable does not mean received. Follow the returned payment instructions; there is no guarantee that every production order is always adjusted in one direction.

After success, obtain the confirmed actual paid amount from query paid_amount. Callback amount remains the original order amount and is not a dedicated actual-paid field.

If both order and paid amounts are 1000.00 and the fee is 10.00, net settlement can be 990.00. This is merchant settlement, not a statement that the customer paid only 990.

PayIn settlement can use the order amount or paid amount as the base according to merchant configuration. When amounts differ, do not universally replace the returned settlement with amount - total_fee.

Payout example

With amount=1000.00 and total_fee=10.00, the beneficiary principal is 1000.00; the merchant principal plus fee is normally 1010.00. Payout settlement_amount normally means principal plus fee, not a fee-deducted beneficiary amount.

Balances

Payout creation freezes principal and fees; successful payment settles frozen funds, while failure and related release conditions unfreeze them. Other fund-release requests or delayed settlement can also create frozen balances. Fees, credit limits and settlement arrangements are merchant-specific.

In query_balance, balance is available funds, totalBalance is available plus frozen and usableBalance is available plus credit: see balance query.
